Giants sweep the Lander Legends tonight in two hig

Giants sweep the Lander Legends tonight in two high scoring hit fests, featuring four home runs with two by junior Milo Gray. Brenden Menke went 4-4 in game one, picking up a lead off homer and 3 RBIs. Milo Gray led in RBIs with 4, and Corbin Goodell added a solo shot in the fifth inning to bring the total homers in game one to three. Derringer Holding went all five innings on the mound, pitching a two hit shutout with seven strikeouts and no walks. Game two saw hot bats again with the team collecting 9 runs on 9 hits. Gray went yard for a second time on the day in the fourth for two runs. Kai Tanabe took the win on the mound for Jackson, pitching a one hitter over three innings. Varsity’s next outing will be next week Thursday in the Boise Wood Bat tournament- come out and see them if you can or catch them on GameChanger if you can’t make it in person. Let’s go Giants!!! 🔥⚾️💣

The Giants prep team split with the Evanston Outlaws today in conference play, dropping 2-12 before coming back 13-4 in game two. Prep’s last games of the regular season are this Friday at home against Bridger Valley - hope to see you there!! 🔥⚾️

The varsity Giants swept the Cody Cubs today in co

The varsity Giants swept the Cody Cubs today in conference play in Cody, winning 17-15 and 15-3 in 90+ degree heat. Brenden Menke went 5-6 in game one, getting five out of the 17 total hits in the game. Wyatt Moore was just a home run away from hitting for the cycle in game two, pulling down a single, double and a triple and driving in four RBI’s. Moore also pitched 6 2/3 innings in game two, just one out away from a complete game. Catch varsity on Wednesday in Lander as they wrap up conference play - the action will be streamed on GameChanger if you can’t make it in person! 🔥⚾️

Jackson split today in Casper against the Catters, falling 2-3 before taking the second game 8-0. Corbin Goodell was on the mound in game one, pitching six innings. Sam Peterman & Brenden Menke were responsible for the Giants two RBI’s. Derringer Holding threw a one hitter in game two, striking out 10 and walking 2. Five Giants hitters collected two hits each in game two and Wyatt Moore led with three RBI’s. Catch the Varsity Giants again on Sunday when they travel to Cody to take on the Cubs - see you there!
